 Pet Lodge Kitty Guests are not boarded in small cages in the same areas as
dogs such as your veterinarian uses, but our purr...line guests are
quartered in luxury suites all containing play and climbing toys, comfy
sleeping beds and extra large litter boxes.

place for your pets.

The team at Pet Lodge Pet
Resort is made up of real pet lovers. The interview process relies heavily on the
applicant's interaction with animals and his/her excellent references. Ken Miller realizes that there is no room for error when hiring
people to care for his guests.
Vaccinations
- we must be presented with proof of current inoculations. Cats must have rabies,
fcvrp, and feline leukemia protection. This proof can either be faxed, or called in by
your veterinarian, or brought in. Pets arriving without the proper inoculations will have
to be taken to our veterinarian, Rod Hardy at Midway Animal Hospital, either by the client
or for an extra $30 above the cost of the inoculations, by us.Our Fax number is (770)
751-6807. We prefer that you go to your own veterinarian for your inoculations so that a
through check-up can be done.
 Pet
Taxi - If you need us to pick up your pets or deliver them to your house, our pet
taxi is available. The geographic area may be limited, according to staffing needs. Fees
for the pet taxi run from $20 to $125. The latter amount would be for delivery to
the shipping department of an airline at the airport. Please phone us for
the exact fees.
Flea Treatment
- There is a $7 mandatory flea treatment
each time your cat arrives. We use a natural pyrethrin flea treatment, which will not
adversely affect your pet, regardless of what other program he/she might be using. We are
committed to not allowing any fleas to either enter or leave Pet Lodge Pet Resort.

Cat"
When God made the world, he chose to put
animals in it, and decided to give each whatever it wanted. All the animals formed a long
line before his throne, and the cat quietly went to the end of the line. To the elephant
and the bear he gave strength, to the rabbit and the deer- swiftness, to the owl - the
ability to see at night, to the birds and the butterflies- great beauty; to the fox -
cunning; to the monkey- intelligence; to the dog - loyalty; to the lion - courage; to the
otter - playfulness. And all these were things the animals begged of God. At last he came
to the end of the line, and there sat the little cat, waiting patiently. "What will
YOU have?" God asked the cat. The cat shrugged modestly. "Oh, whatever scraps
you have left over. I don't mind." "But I'm God. I have everything left
over." "Then I'll have a little of everything, please." And God gave a
great shout of laughter at the cleverness of this small animal, and gave the cat
everything she asked for, adding grace and elegance and, only for her, a gentle purr that
would always attract humans and assure her a warm and comfortable home. But he took away
her false modesty!
