Get ready to mark your calendars because there are fabulous events coming up that you won't want to miss! Pet Lodge Pet Resort will be holding a raffle at our booth as well as goodies that you AND your dog will love. Stop by our booth and enter the raffle to enter to win 3 free days of boarding, daily playtimes and a luxurious bubble bath at the end of your pet's stay. All upcoming events are also displayed on our website here.
We are starting the month off with the 12th Annual Animal Rescue Fair at Wills Park Equestrian Center on Sunday, June 10. Hosted by Save the Horses and Canine Adoption Network, this event is for pet rescue awareness and to help homeless dogs, cats and other animals find permanent homes as well as educate the public on pet care, products and resources available to all.
Then, on June 16, Pet Lodge Pet Resort will be participating in the 2nd Annual Mutts & More Festival, presented by the Humane Society of Forsyth County. This event will take place at Fowler Park in Cumming. The 2012 Mutt Strutt, a dog walk and fundraiser for the Humane Society of Forsyth County, will also take place here. Participants register to walk their dogs at the Mutt Strut and recruit "sponsors."

Welcome to Pet Lodge Pet Resort's Blog! We are very excited to be up and running!
 As our very first blog entry, we would like to announce Pet Lodge Pet Resort's very first "Pet of the Week": Charlie Brinkley! Charlie is a Golden Retreiver/Lab mix owned by Skip and Garry Brinkley. He has been a loyal Pet Lodge client and V.I.P. for over 2 years and an absolute joy to care for.
During this visit, Charlie is vacationing at Pet Lodge Pet Resort during Memorial Day Weekend, which is completely packed full of every fun, exciting activity you could think of for a fantastic dog like Charlie to enjoy.
A day in the life for Charlie as a Pet Lodge Pet Resort guest includes a yummy breakfast and dinner, tasty treats throughout the day, 3 potty breaks, Group Swimtime in our bone-shaped pool, Group playtime with all his friends, and a mile-long nature walk on wooded trails through our lovely state-park like acreage.
Take it from Charlie, Pet Lodge Pet Resort is the pet vacation of a lifetime! Pets need weekend getaways, too! :-)
